HACSB Unveils New Logo

The year 2021 marks the Housing Authority’s 80th anniversary of serving the families and communities of San Bernardino County. We were established in 1941 under the U.S. Housing Act of 1937 for the purpose of providing affordable housing for low-income families and individuals.

We are starting to transition our 80th anniversary rebranding efforts as we approach our 2021 fiscal year on October 1, 2020. Through this celebration period, we will share various updates as well as historical background of how far we have come in 80 years.

This new milestone brings forth a new logo and fresh colors that are more representative of who we are and our agency’s core values of respect, service, integrity, and safety. Aside from symbolizing the home component of our work, the abstract heart symbol represents our commitment to service and empathy in being able to share in the feelings of others. The heart also symbolizes safety and protection over a household – essentially the families we serve. It’s also not a completely closed heart because in its abstract form it represents an embrace, a feeling of warmth and an overall representation of our commitment to serving all our customers – both internal and external.

We welcome you to join us in our celebration of 80 years of service!
