The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is starting a waiting list for the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program for referrals submitted to CES after 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022. For Victim Service Providers, complete referral packets must be in the Housing Authority’s referral email box by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022. After that date and time, all referrals submitted will be placed on a waiting list based on a first come, first served basis. We will pull from the waiting list as slots become available. The waiting list will remain open until we determine that we have sufficient referrals to meet the program’s utilization goals.
HACSB will make an additional announcement when EHV referrals will no longer be accepted. For now, we encourage partners to continue to send referrals. Please make sure the referral & intake documentation is complete as this will facilitate the processing of the application when a program slot opens.
Individuals and families must be referred directly to HACSB through the San Bernardino County Coordinated Entry System (CES) or a victim service provider (VSP). HACSB cannot accept applications directly from the public for this program.
Families who need EHV assistance can contact a service provider directly to request assistance applying for the EHV program. Click here for a list of service providers who can help customers access the EHV program.
