On Friday, April 24, 2026, the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (HACSB) and developer-partner National Community Renaissance (National CORE) hosted a press conference to celebrate another milestone in the redevelopment work at the Arrowhead Grove community in San Bernardino. Congressman Pete Aguilar (CA-33) announced the award of $3 million in FY 2026 Community Project Funding (CPF) to support Phase V of the redevelopment.
San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., and City of San Bernardino Mayor Helen Tran joined HACSB Deputy Executive Director Rishad Mitha and Hope Through Housing Foundation Executive Director Alyssa Cotter in celebrating the investment and thanking Congressman Aguilar for his support.
Arrowhead Grove is a newly redeveloped community located at the site of one of the first affordable housing developments in San Bernardino County, a 252-unit Public Housing community built there in 1942. Since 2013, HACSB has led a phased redevelopment of the aging property to preserve affordable housing for future generations while expanding access to community resources. Three phases have been completed to date, with a fourth currently under construction. Additional residential phases of housing are planned, and a Community Resource Center are planned.
